The Dead Key - D.M. Pulley

I love books where the characters draw you further into the story with each page. The Dead Key does exactly that and more with it’s intricate weaving of two time periods – 1978 and 1998. The story moves forward along both time periods until they “click” into place at the end of the book.

You get to see some of the characters in both time periods. Showing up when you least expect them and just when you think you might have the mystery of the First Bank of Cleveland all figured out – a twist or two occurs and leaves you scratching your head and furiously turning the page to see what happens next.

What dark deeds took place at the bank leading up to its closure in 1978? What evil lurks within the bank in 1998? You’ll have to read it to find out!
