Wookie The Chew – adorable book for the kiddos

Wookie the Chew

“Wookie the Chew belonged to a small boy named Chrisolo Robin and Chrisolo Robin belonged to him.”

Sure. I got this strictly for the kids. Yep.

I can’t remember exactly where I had first heard about this delightful mashup of Star Wars and Winnie the Pooh. George Lucas meets A.A. Milne.

Anyway, I recently purchased “Wookie the Chew: The House at Chew Corner” and it is just as good as I had hoped it would be. Written and illustrated by James Hance, this book (first of many, I hope) captures the sweetness of Winnie the Pooh while throwing in numerous references to Star Wars well beyond just the look of the characters.

The book was only $5 and James is currently working on a second book amongst all of the great paintings and prints that he creates. Check out his work at his website – jameshance.com.
