Slow Cooker Bread Pudding is this afternoon’s snack

Today’s afternoon snack will be Slow Cooker Bread Pudding.

The perfect treat to warm you up this winter! You can vary this recipe numerous ways by adding different kinds of dried fruit such as cherries, blueberries, cranberries, and more.

It’s SO good!

What you need:

  • 8 Cups day-old unfrosted cinnamon rolls OR 8 slices of white bread or cinnamon bread – cubed
  • 2 Cups Milk
  • 1/4 Cup sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/4 Cup of butter, melted
  • 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1 Cup raisins

Put the cinnamon rolls (or bread) in the slow cooker. In a bowl, combine the next 6 ingredients – beat until smooth. Stir in the raisins and pour the mixture over the bread/cinnamon rolls. Stir gently.

Cover and cook on low for 3 hours. This is delicious when it’s warm or cold after it has been in the fridge. Very tasty, but don’t expect it to last long.
