On the day I was born

by admin on March 19, 2010

Here is a sampling of events and happenings that take place on my birthday, March 19, 1976 –

The #1 song was ‘December 1963 (Oh, What a Night)’ – The Four Seasons. Meh, not one of my faves by any means.

I share the same birthday as Bruce Willis (1955) – big whoop. His name was the most recognizable on the paltry list that IMDB.com turned up (well, him and Glenn Close (1947), but I digress).

However, the famous “Old West” lawman, Wyatt Earp, (1848) shares the same birthday as I do. I thought he was great in Tombstone (I kid, I kid, I know it was a movie not a documentary čÖé ).

On this day in 1995, Michael Jordan came to his senses and came back to play in the NBA after an unsuccessful try at a pro baseball career.

Holidays on this day – National Day of Oil in Iran. Oh yay (sarcasm alert). Way to go, Iran, good luck with those nuclear reactors by the way.

In 1931 Nevada legalized gambling and what has been happening in Vegas has been staying in Vegas ever since.
