Watch out for fake Wii at Dollar General

by admin on November 24, 2008

I had a good laugh while going the the flyers in the Sunday paper. Blatantly above the fold on the front page of the Dollar General insert is a Wii lookalike that is sure to fool some unknowing parent this Christmas season. Take a look at a scan of the ad –

Don't be fooled by this imposter

If you are looking for a Wii this Christmas, Target is guaranteeing that they will not run out. They’re selling the Wii for $249 and I find it hard to believe they will not sell out before Christmas. Since the debut of the Wii in 2006 it has been the most difficult gaming system to find in stock online or in stores.

If you are looking for a Wii, look no further than a page I created at Squidoo – Nintendo Wii Deals. I’ve included a Wii tracker that will tell you where (if any) there are Wii in stock as well as a brief guide to finding a Wii, video from popular Wii games, and listings for online auctions of Wii if you don’t luck out and find one in stores.
