40th Anniversary of Apollo 11 Moon Landing restored footage

by admin on July 16, 2009

Can you believe it’s been 40 years since we put a man on the moon? When you think of all of the logistics and everything that could go wrong with such an endeavor it is amazing, to this day, that the United States was able to accomplish this feat. This Monday, July 20th marks the 40 year anniversary of Neil Armstrong setting foot on the moon with “one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind.”

NASA has attempted to restore the footage of the moon landing. For some reason this multi-billion dollar program lost the original tapes and is trying to restore the television footage. Oh well.
