On my online storefront I try to make it as easy as possible for customers to find all of the information they need to complete the purchase. I post shipping information such as price and estimated arrival time. I try to include as much product information as possible so that the customer clearly knows what they are purchasing.
Without fail I constantly receive phone calls and emails with customers asking questions that are directly answered on my website. It’s frustrating to me because I want the customer to be able to complete the transaction without having to take such steps. It’s also frustrating as a small business owner to be tied up answering these questions instead of doing the 101 other things on my ‘to do’ list.
Any suggestions on how I could present this information to cut down on these questions? Such as wording or placement of the link to the information, perhaps?
